It is my great pleasure to recommend Cathy Johnson for the position of swim and water instructor trainer. My daughter, Mikayla, is once again looking forward to swim lessons and at his sister’s recommendation, my younger son is highly anticipating his. After watching each day of swim lessons last year, I feel confident that Cathy has a strong understanding of swimming and water safety. In addition, she is highly effective in sharing her knowledge with her students in a fun, yet informative, fashion. The enthusiasm she brings to the pool is quickly spread to her students as a newfound love of swimming. Yet, as a parent I very much appreciate the respect she has for the danger of water and the fact that she drills a healthy dose of that into her students each day. Based on my observations, I know that Cathy has both the understanding and communication necessary to train new instructors. I believe she will be a valuable asset to your organization. To Whom it May Concern, It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Cathy Johnson. She is an amazing swim coach. My children have been swimming under the direction of Cathy for the past three summers. She has the ability of making the children very comfortable as they learn how to swim. My children usually begin the summer a little apprehensive of the pool, however, by the end of their first class with Cathy, the fear is gone and they have no problem jumping right in. Cathy has a true talent for kids. I am sure that her patience and dedication attributes to them asking for swim lessons all year long. My children usually begin asking for Ms. Cathy about December. It is not easy to find a person who works this well with children. I am extremely confident recommending Cathy to anyone who asks for a swimming instructor. I have even recommended her to adults wanting to learn how to swim. During once of my children’s summer sessions, I too had the pleasure of learning CPR through a workshop that Cathy gave for all the parents. She was especially knowledgeable and precise which made learning the proper techniques simple. I am thankful to Cathy for all that she has taught my children. I also look forward to seeing the progress that they will continue to make because of her dedication.

I am writing this letter on behalf of Catherine Johnson. I have been associated with Catherine for the past year as an American Heart Association BLS CRP instructor, and in my capacity as a Water Safety Instructor Trainer for the County of Riverside. Catherine has been teaching with me in my present Water Safety Instructor class at Valley View High School, and is doing an excellent job working with my students. Catherine has been a member of the American Red Cross family for the past 17 years as a lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, Safety Training for Swim Coaches, and a title 22 Advance First Aid Instructor. In working with the American Heart Association, Catherine has been BLS CRP instructor, the new 2003 Heart Saver First Aid Instructor, Heart Saver AED Instructor, and CPR Healthcare Provider. Catherine is also a private swim instructor and the business administrator for the Heartsavers of Temecula, and has been the competitive swim coach for the city of Temecula. I feel that Catherine would make a great Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer. If you have any questions concerning this matter, feel free to notify me at Valley View High School. I am writing a letter of recommendation for Catherine Johnson. Cathy has been the administrator for Heartsavers of Temecula Valley since 1993 and has shown a great zeal for perfection. Heartsavers of Temecula is an American Heart Association Training Center. I am currently a Regional faculty with the American Heart Association and a Captain with the Solona Beach Fire Department and I feel Cathy would make an excellent Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer for the following reasons: Cathy’s job description is to schedule CPR and First Aid classes throughout Riverside and San Diego Counties, filling over 4000 students per year and maintains the accounting books for Heartsavers. In addition to maintaining the office, Cathy is also an American Heart Association Instructor, which entitles her to teach students to become instructors. Also, Cathy has been involved with the American Red Cross as a Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor and safety trainer for swim coaches. Cathy has excellent people skills and shows a dedication to the tasks at hand that I very rarely see. Cathy is will liked by everyone she comes in contact with and continually shows kindness and compassion to everyone she meets. Cathy’s skills in what she does are to be modeled after. I believe Cathy to be an excellent asset to any organization because she would assist in providing an increased level of service to the organization she serves. I feel fortunate to be associated with Cathy, both professionally and personally, and am confident that she will continue to excel in all that she pursues.

Cathy Johnson has been an employee at our school from August 2008 until December 2008. Our school had to make many financial adjustments because of the poor economy. We had to lay off many staff recently. Cathy was one of those we had to lay off. Mrs. Johnson is professional in her relationship with staff, parents and students. She is proficient in Windows XP, Office XP and our administrative Software. Cathy is a CPR First Aid trainer. Our school has used her to certify our staff each year for over ten years. Mrs. Johnson was a valuable asset to our school. She is dependable, punctual, loyal, and trustworthy. She is able to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner. I highly recommend Cathy for a position in your organization.
