The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguard Management course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage lifeguards and to create an environment that keeps patrons, lifeguards, and the aquatic facility safe. |

| Prerequisites |
| There are no prerequisites to enroll in the Lifeguard Management course. However, it is recommended that participants possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid certificate. Additionally, it is recommended that participants have either lifeguarding experience or management experience is another occupation. |
